The Job:

As a medical professional in this organization, you will:

  • Work under the mentorship of a renowned Consultant Haematologist and a team of Senior VMOs.
  • Join a supportive multidisciplinary team of professionals.
  • Encourage Junior Medical Officers with a keen interest in subspecialty medicine PGY2+ to apply.
  • Be responsible for coverage of both the Oncology and Haematology in/outpatients, including chemotherapy day care.
  • Support nursing staff in initiating and delivering clinical care to patients.
  • Supervise and educate other members of the workforce, participating in performance review procedures.
  • Actively participate in organizational processes, safety systems, and the improvement of clinical services while upholding the hospital's values and high standards of care.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Current General registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience.
