Pay rate: $2300 Per day Conditions:  Clinical handover at 0800 with outgoing or incoming obstetricians in Maternity ward or by telephone  Daily inpatient maternity ward rounds from 0800 - 0900.  The shift is 24 hours in total, 4 hours to be onsite also including weekend coverage to conduct antenatal clinics as needed, particularly for patients at or beyond 36 weeks who may not have been seen yet by the Obstetrician on call.  Assist with the Provision of Onsite Gynaecology Services for the ED if required by the ED locum, after escalation via vCare as needed such as Bartholin’s cyst/abscess  Manage early labour and pregnancy loss including D & C and manual removal of placenta.  Provide comprehensive assessment of the neonate prior to discharge including documentation in eMR and personal health record as needed.  Provide assessments for inductions of labour as scheduled.  Provide antenatal and postnatal outpatient clinic services as scheduled. ...
