Personal Care Worker - Far North Coast

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers to support clients in residential aged care facilities across Lismore and surrounding areas. This is a casual agency role offering flexible shifts to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids

• Support residents with meals, hydration, and feeding where required

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition or behaviour

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Follow individual care plans and organisational policies

• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment

• Work collaboratively with nursing and care staff

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 months paid experience as a Personal Care Worker in aged care

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

• Current Police Check

• Evidence of up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (as per facility requirements)

• Manual Handling and Infection Control training

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends

Desirable

• Experience working across multiple aged care facilities (agency experience)

• Current First Aid and CPR

• Reliable transport
