Cannonvale Medical Centre is a family owned non corporate practice and offers a flexible alternative to you working in private practice. We are currently looking for a part-time Psychologist to join our welcoming and rapidly growing team of Allied Health Professionals.

Our Medical Centre was established to help our community of patients to live and maintain healthy and enjoyable lives.

We strive to achieve this by adopting new models of care.

This role is an extension of our services, with the view to be able to provide psychiatry, psychology and coaching services to adult clients with different presentations such as anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD and ADHD.

In the near future we would like to be able to include AODS and youth services as well.

This role can be delivered by telehealth and/or face to face services.

Due to our business expansion, we are looking for one additional part time registered psychologist/clinical psychologist. This position would suit a working from home arrangement. We promote a flexible, transparent, and respectful working environment to our patients and co workers.

Opportunity to look after our patients from our other 5 QLD and VIC based medical centres is also an option.

About the job

At Cannonvale Medical Centre you will work hand in hand within a multidisciplinary team of General Practitioners, Skin Cancer Doctors, Cosmetic Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and other mental health professionals providing important and effective care to patients in need.

You will have the flexibility and time to adapt your approach for different patients and make a real difference in their lives. You will engage with patients through either our digital telehealth platform or if your prefer in face to face consults within our General Practice.

All consults are billed privately. 

Skills & Experience

  • AHPRA registered psychologist/clinical psychologist.
  • Interest in a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression and ADHD.
  • Training and experience in a range of therapeutic interventions such as CBT, ACT or DBT.
  • You are an effective communicator with a patient centric and collaborative approach.
  • You enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
