As one of The Whitsunday's leading healthcare, cosmetic medicine and beauty providers , we are dedicated to providing exceptional pharmacy products care and advice to our valued patients.

We are currently seeking a full-time pharmacy products technician and retail guru who is self-motivated, versatile, and passionate about delivering excellent service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. If you have experience or a keen interest in Compounding, this position will provide the perfect platform for you to expand your knowledge and skills in this specialised area of pharmacy.

However, even if you don't have prior Compounding experience, our highly experienced compounding pharmacists are  willing to provide training and support to help you excel in this aspect of the role.

As our new team member flawless communication skills are essential.

You will engage with customers on a daily basis, providing them with expert advice and assistance. Your ability to adapt to different situations and environments will be a valuable asset in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Attention to detail is key in this busy role. You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks simultaneously, so strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential. Your positive attitude and dedication to delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers will contribute to the overall success of our team and the pharmacy.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Dispensing medications as required and supporting the Pharmacists, ensuring all prescriptions are ordered, dispensed and checked as set out in the guidelines listed by the Pharmacy Board
  • Ordering of stock, including daily orders, monthly bulk, and direct supplier turnovers
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the dispensary and the retail shelves at all times
  • Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting on the dispensary and the pharmacy as a whole
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of stock integrity and accuracy

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

  • Experience, preferably in Retail Pharmacy
  • A strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills with a caring and attentive nature
  • Excellent personal presentation and grooming
  • A positive "can do" outlook on life and work
  • Highly organised and methodical with excellent communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Medication packing knowledge will be an advantage but not essential
