The Role at a Glance

Healthicare, an innovative division of WentWest Primary Health Network, is seeking a visionary Clinic Director for the state-of-the-art health center in Mt Druitt. This exciting role will play a pivotal role in introducing a groundbreaking model of care, designed to enhance the health and social well-being of vulnerable families within the community.

As a patient-facing General Practitioner, you will assume the role of Clinic Director, leading a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in the provision of progressive, evidence-based, patient-centric primary healthcare. Your responsibilities will extend beyond the clinical sphere, as you collaborate with a diverse network of stakeholders, including patients, community leaders, visiting medical officers, government departments, and representatives from both the public and private healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Innovative Leadership: As a visionary leader, you will spearhead a new micro healthcare system, partnering with 30 surrounding clinics to create a revolutionary approach to healthcare in Western Sydney.

• Purpose-Built Facility: Your work will be based at the brand-new Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub (BEST), offering a cutting-edge environment to implement your vision.

• Multi-Disciplinary Team: Lead a team of both clinical and non-clinical professionals, fostering a collaborative and holistic approach to patient care.

• Enhancing Social Outcomes: Your work will be centered on improving the health and social well-being of the community's most vulnerable families, driving real change and meaningful impact.

About You

You are not only a vocationally registered General Practitioner with a minimum of three years of leadership experience but also a visionary committed to reshaping the healthcare system and driving better health and social outcomes. Essential Criteria

• AHPRA Registration as a Medical Practitioner with GP Specialization.
