General Practitioner – Women’s Health Focus (DRANZCOG Preferred)
📍 Cannonvale Medical Centre | Whitsundays, QLD

Cannonvale Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and experienced GP with strong Women’s Health and Gynaecology experience, ideally holding DRANZCOG (or equivalent), to join our growing and supportive team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving women’s health service in a beautiful coastal community with strong patient demand.

👩‍⚕️ The Opportunity

We are looking for a GP who is confident in:

  • Comprehensive women’s health consultations

  • Antenatal and postnatal care

  • Cervical screening and preventative health

  • Contraception (including Implanon and IUD insertion/removal)

  • Menstrual disorders and menopause management

  • Early pregnancy care

  • Shared care arrangements where appropriate

There is significant demand for experienced women’s health practitioners in our region, offering immediate patient flow and the opportunity to shape and expand services.

✅ Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • FRACGP or FACRRM

  • DRANZCOG (preferred) or significant women’s health experience

  • Eligibility for Medicare provider number

  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
