- Newly created permanent part-time (3 days/week) opportunity
- Leadership role involved in recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring and supporting junior medical staff
- Be part of a dedicated Medical Services team and drive a culture of clinical excellence
About The Role
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff
- Liaising and communicating with various governing bodies and managing/maintaining accreditation of all training positions with respective colleges
- Contributing to the development of the medical education curriculum and playing an active role in supporting the growth of the junior medical workforce
- Supporting the Executive Director of Medical Services in maintaining effective governance and management of clinical safety, quality and risk across hospital
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- FRACMA or AFRACMA and postgraduate qualification in management are desirable but not essential
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align medical services and medical workforce planning with organisational strategic direction, and exceptional organisational and leadership skills to effectively manage, mentor, motivate and supervise a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution, and high level management skills to effectively delegate tasks and meet deadlines
