The Position You will work with a well-established mental health department to provide clinical assessment and psychiatric treatment for older adults with mental illness based in the community. As a part of your role, you will supervise and train medical students including registrars, initiate and participate in research projects relevant to the mental health service, and participate in the on-call roster for the mental health team (including the ECT roster). You will also work with the local geriatric team to run the memory service. The older adult team is co-located with other local mental health services, including a 16-bed inpatient unit, and adult, child and, community mental health services.
