DNA are partnering with a well-established medical centre in Canberra's southern region to recruit a Practice Manager on a permanent full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a busy and successful clinic, leading an established team while helping drive continued growth, efficiency, and exceptional patient care. 

With a team of 7 General Practitioners, 3 Registered Nurses, and 2 Allied Health professionals, this clinic has built a strong reputation within the local community and offers a collaborative and supportive working environment.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the clinic owners, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice while ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily operations of the clinic
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting administration and nursing teams
  • Workforce planning, rostering and staff performance management
  • Financial oversight including billing, accounts and reporting
  • Supporting accreditation processes and compliance requirements
  • Monitoring and improving operational efficiencies
  • Managing patient experience and service delivery standards
  • Liaising with GPs, Allied Health professionals and external stakeholders
  • Supporting business growth and practice development initiatives
  • Overseeing IT systems, policies and practice procedures

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience as a Practice Manager within General Practice
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Sound understanding of Medicare, billing and practice operations
  • Experience managing accreditation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with General Practice software systems
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture
