DNA Nursing is presently collaborating with a General Practice situated in the Kiara area of Perth, actively seeking a Practice Nurse dedicated to upholding the highest standards of patient care. This purpose-built, mixed billing medical center boasts an established nursing team comprising five other skilled professionals. In this role, you'll receive robust support, presenting an exceptional opportunity for nurses particularly passionate about chronic disease management.
Kiara, an urban enclave close to the city, offers an easy 10-minute commute to both Perth and Galleria. It's a vibrant suburb featuring expansive shopping centers, excellent culinary offerings, and a community known for its warmth and friendliness.
Key Highlights:
- Permanent position: 40 hours per week
- Work hours: Between 8 AM and 6 PM
- Potential occasional Saturday work available for interested candidates
- Competitive rate, up to $46 per hour based on experience
- Parking facilities available

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Encompass:
- Patient triage
- Immunisation procedures
- Wound dressing
- Management of medical supplies inventory
- Oversight of cold chain management
- Health assessments for patients
- Development and execution of care plans
- Performing ECGs and CVAs
- Assisting in minor procedures
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Prior experience in a GP Practice/Medical Centre setting
- Certified as a Registered Nurse specializing in Practice Nursing
- COVID vaccination certification
- Desirable experience with care plans and chronic disease management
