DNA Nursing presents an exceptional opportunity for a Practice Nurse to cover annual leave for about 6 weeks, working 4 to 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, starting immediately.

As a Practice Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role within the healthcare team, collaborating closely with 6 doctors and another nurse. Your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless operation of the medical practice while delivering top-tier patient care. This role offers flexibility and can be based in either Lakes Entrance or Bairnsdale, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
• Administering vaccinations and prescribed medications.
• Conducting health assessments, including blood pressure checks and wound care.
• Managing and maintaining patient records with strict confidentiality.
• Collaborating with the medical team for comprehensive patient care.
• Providing patient education and support for families.
• Assisting in coordinating patient appointments and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Qualified Practice Nurse with relevant certifications.
• AHPRA registration and valid working rights.
• Preferably certified as an Immunizer.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
