CAT 3,2,1 are managed by ETS overnight and the doctor comes in if ETS cannot assist the CAT1. Karratha covers CAT 5,4 over night. The doctor works a GP practice each day. Must hold fellowship. It is more of a GP service rather than ED presentations, but here are some ED presentations daily. Solo doctor working shift - 07:30-17:30, and is then on call for major CAT1s. CAT 3,2,1 are managed by ETS overnight and the doctor comes in if ETS cannot assist the CAT1. Karratha covers CAT 5,4 over night. There are 6 beds in the hospital. Presentations to ED 2-6/day average. GP patients average 20/day....
